Check-In Staff

The primary responsibility of the Check-In Staff is to be present at the check-in window of the NHSC main office to assist members and guests upon arrival. By utilizing a community member in this position, it provides the opportunity for Lifeguards to remain in key positions at the swim club during working hours. The Check-In Staff will familiarize themselves with NHSC members in an attempt to provide friendly, courteous service and prevent unauthorized entry of underage/unaccompanied members or non-members and improper guest pass usage.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Must be 25 or older

  • Computer proficiency [specific software training will be provided]

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES MAY INCLUDE:

  • Interacting with NHSC members, guests and other staff in a professional and courteous manner.

  • Check-in members and guests in a timely manner

  • Assist members with adding funds to account balances, purchasing and utilizing guest passes or replacement swim bands

  • Answer Swim Club phone, taking and delivering messages to appropriate personnel.

  • Familiarize themselves with NHSC policies and procedures and be able to communicate to members and guests

  • Maintaining a tidy work space
